The above images were taken using Meade-LX200 12" and 16" telescopes based in Milton Keynes and The Observatori de Mallorca, along with a number taking with the 14" PIRATE robtic telescope, also situated in Mallorca. The images were acquired and processed using a software package called MaximDL, which was used to callibrate and combine mono-colour (i.e. grey-scale) images taken in the B-, V- and R- spectral wavebands (i.e. in the blue, green, and red) to create the colour images shown above.
